Twin Carp Towers

A £100M development within the premier business district of Shanghai, which has a history that dates back to the construction of the Jing'An Temple in AD247. Widely acknowledged as one of the most architecturally significant and culturally important areas in the country, the challenge was to design a modern and sustainable development meeting contemporary iconic aspirations, while respecting and complimenting the historical context of the structure. Twin Carp Towers is the flagship design within the regeneration of the former French district and will provide sustainable accommodation for global media companies. CJ Partnership has been engaged as a consultant by the Shanghai government and Tongji University to provide urban planning and conceptual designs for the redevelopment, which will take place in three phases over the next 10 years.
